A Note from Mabel:
This October, I will travel to El Salvador and Guatemala with The Max Foundation (Max), a global health nonprofit that has supported over 100,000 patients worldwide. Max provides free, life-saving cancer treatment, diagnostics, and support to people who would otherwise go without care.
I’m raising funds to help Max continue its mission of accelerating health equity. Despite major cuts to global health funding this year, Max has proven that its model works — building strong local partnerships and standing by patients for as long as needed.
On this trip, I’ll meet patients, advocates, and healthcare providers whose lives are being transformed by access to proper diagnostics, medication, and support. Their stories are a powerful reminder that access to care saves lives. My goal is to raise $15,000 by the end of October. Every dollar you give helps ensure people facing illness, no matter where they live, receive the treatment they deserve.
